While I'm still trying to figure out who I am, exactly, I'll try my very best to introduce myself as properly as possible. My name is Bianca, a 20-year-old dreamer currently residing in lovely San Diego, although I'll be moving somewhere near Disneyland early next year. I'm a college student focusing on getting my Nursing degree, but I still find time to flex my creative muscles in the form of writing, photography, singing, acting, and playing the piano - all passions that I have been cultivating since childhood.
People have asked me why I didn't decide to pursue an artistic career path, and my honest answer is that I am more than just a girl who adores the fine arts. I love taking care of people. I can't stand seeing an ill person and not being able to do anything about it. I also enjoy working with computers. With that being said, I plan to use my Nursing degree (followed by a Computer Science degree) to specialize in Nurse Informatics. But who knows what the future has in store? I would love to have my own little photography business one day, and I'd like to actually finish writing a novel (I've tried and failed many times, but I'll keep trying). We'll see how it all unfolds.
The blog "Merry & Free" was an idea that had been floating around in my head for quite some time, and I'm very glad to have finally started it. It's my way of cherishing life's every adventure, as well as publicly sharing my point of view on an array of subjects. I also find it fun and stimulating to take on projects, which will be showcased here. I can only hope you'd like to join me along for the ride.
